February 28, 2008 The Bulldogs took a 2-1 series lead over the Avonlea Arrows with a 4-3 overtime win on Wednesday night. Byron Alexander scored 4 minutes into the extra frame on a turnover created by Bulldog forward Jeremy Forbes. Tyler Riche - with a highlight reeler, Tyler Van Luven, and Chris Frohlick also scored for the home side. Ryan Seibel played exceptional between the pipes. All three games have gone to overtime in this series, so look for another close battle in game 4. February 26, 2008 The Bulldogs are in Avonlea tonight for game 2 of their best of 5 HHL Semi-Final series. Bethune won game 1 on Saturday night with Lanny Flichel's double overtime game winner. Dan Morin, with 2, and Chris Frohlick also scored for the Dogs. Game 3 will go tomorrow night in Bethune at 8:00pm.
